Sea Otter a Beneteau Idylle 15.50
External & Internal layout
A few pictures from the External and Internal drawings
The left drawing is the original Sea Otter (Moorings 51) interior before we changed all of it.
The right picture is a standard Beneteau Idylle 15.50 interior.
This picture shows the various sections we made watertight, by constructing watertight bulkheads.
We changed the forward crew quarters into a store room.
In here we also have the water maker and the battery bank for Windlass and water maker.
There is also a separate 24 volt charger for this battery bank in here.
The two double cabins in front were removed and we built a single master cabin instead. The bathroom became more spacious and could include a bathtub.
The main cabin layout was extensivly changed as you can see from the original layout.
The aft cabin was also totally rebuilt, but we kept the old design as it suited that aft corner of the boat.
Below the cockpit floor resides the Diesel Generator; the heating system, plus a lot of our equipment like bicycles, tools and much more.
