The yacht was purchased by us in 1998 and very soon after she was put on land to be totally rebuild inside. The new interior layout is now a complete change from what it was, more about that in the News Page. We, my wife and I, have been planning to retire on a boat and would like to share our preparation and plans with as many as possible. By doing so, we were hoping to get inputs from other sailing people around the globe. With the help of many experienced sailors/cruisers we did eliminate many mistakes, in our planning, which saved a lot of time and money. In our previous site, we had a few pages set up as a forum, where people could have a discussion or follow one. We will not continue with those pages in this new site, as no one was submitting anything during a whole year. The Guest Book was much more used, so we will continue with that one in the hope of getting lots of new friends who will follow us in our planning and cruising. Please also e-mail us with your thoughts and comments around these topics.
In the Background Page you can read about our sailing backgrounds and other people who have contributed in one way or another to our sailing interest. We will try to update the Picture Page as often as possible, easier said than done. The largest page is the News Page, we think that is the most interesting part as it covers most things in more detail. The Links Page consists of both good commercial sites and (in our view) the best of the private sites.
Some part of text is linked to a picture, when you click on the text and a picture comes into view, you can enlarge that picture by pointing on it and clicking the button with arrows in the corners. We hope you will enjoy the visit.
www.onpassage.com - Onpassage.com is a one-stop resource for cruising yachts worldwide; it provides information for the experienced blue water sailor as well as for those who are planning their first passage.
